SPE honors innovation in biennial Thermoforming Conference Parts Competition

At its Thermoforming Division's conference Oct. 23-26 in Cleveland, the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Thermoforming Division announced the winners of its biennial parts competition.

“This year’s parts competition was especially impressive, as we had 31 entries, the most in recent memory,” said Travis Kieffer, the chairman of the 2023 SPE Thermoforming Parts Competition.  "We received more than 10 entries alone for our new Sustainability category.”

He continued: “The quality and diversity of the entries was also notable. We think the innovation and technology on display was the best yet, and it shows that the plastics thermoforming industry is stronger than ever.”
