New programs added to Vericut 9.6 CNC software
Vericut This CNC simulation, verification and optimization software from CGTech can help mold makers detect errors; avoid collisions; optimize tool design, fixture design, CAM programming and areas of potential inefficiency; and improve part quality and shop floor communication. Available since 1988, it supports a wide range of CNC machine tools and can operate as a standalone solution or be integrated with leading CAM systems.
What’s new? Vericut 9.6, which leverages artificial intelligence (AI)-driven features to offer users a more intuitive and productive experience. New programs include Vericut Assistant, which provides step-by-step guidance on how to use various Vericut tools and delivers instant answers to basic user questions, and Vericut Intelligence (VI), which offers deeper insights to broader user inquiries. VI is accessible from anywhere, at any time. Other new features and capabilities include improved interfaces along with other upgrades to boost productivity and usability. Users now can define driven points more accurately and automatically generate qualified dimensions for imported turning tools, enhancing both precision and setup efficiency in lathe operations.
Benefits Faster, smarter and more-accessible support; simplified machining workflows; and cost and time savings. Also, Vericut 9.6 improves inspection and compliance workflows, as well as the ability to import and display 3D manufacturing data, including information about dimensions.
