PCS Co. has hired industry veteran Jeremy Sutch to lead its hot runner department.

Sutch has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, hot runner and controls technologies, and will focus on developing PCS' hot runner portfolio and supporting the company’s growth in North America as it prepares for NPE.

“We’re really excited to have Jeremy join the PCS team,” said PCS President Angela Elsey. “His knowledge, technical expertise and understanding of the market make him a perfect fit for our team. He brings a tremendous amount of experience and perspective, and has great relationships within the industry.”

Sutch spent nearly five years with DME, most recently as director of engineering. Prior to DME, he was co-owner, vice president and chief operating officer of Future Controls Corp., where he spent more than 30 years. Future Controls provided products to PCS for nearly two decades before Sutch closed the business in 2021.

“There’s a lot of opportunity for growth,” Sutch said. “I think PCS has been very successful, and they should be proud of their gains. But there’s room in the U.S. and Canadian markets for us to grow, and to double our sales.”

Sutch also brings long-standing relationships across the industry with suppliers, customers and other professionals. At PCS, he will lead a three-person team.

For Sutch and PCS, NPE represents an important milestone as the company works to expand its hot runner business and reach new customers and applications.

“NPE gives us a great opportunity to showcase PCS' role as a partner to molders and mold makers,” Sutch said. “But we can do even more — we’re focused on becoming a leader in the hot runner market.”

PCS Co., based in Fraser, Mich., provides solutions and products for injection molding and mold making.
