Chris LaBombarbe joins PCS as head of product development
PCS Co. has hired Chris LaBombarbe, a former Uniloy executive, as its head of product development.
He leads cross-functional teams working to expand the company’s offerings of mold bases, mold components, molding supplies and solutions, hot runner systems, cutting tools and additive manufacturing technologies.
“This is a huge step for us in being a product-led organization,” said PCS President Angela Elsey. “Chris will help us in our mission of bringing the greatest solutions to our customers and partners quickly.”
LaBombarbe most recently served as group VP for technology and innovation at blow molding machine maker Uniloy. Previously, he held roles as VP of global engineering for Mold-Masters and as senior director of PET engineering and development at Graham Packaging. He started in the industry as a manufacturing engineer at Ford Motor Co., and has worked at Amcor, O-I Glass and the Coca-Cola Co.
“I am truly enjoying being a part of the PCS team,” he said. “I look forward to managing products end-to-end throughout their lifecycle and leading the company’s portfolio growth strategy, so we can continue to offer the best products and solutions for the mold building, molding and die casting industries.”
PCS Co., based in Fraser, Mich., provides solutions and products for injection molding and mold making.
