HyFlow technology targets cascade injection molding

The actuator controls the flow rate of the hydraulic oil to set the opening and closing rates and positioning of each pin.

HyFlow HRSflow’s latest technology for hot-runner systems with hydraulically actuated cylinders is an actuator that precisely controls the opening and closing speeds and the positioning of each pin. It is designed to improve the quality of products made via cascade injection molding.

What’s new? The HyFlow technology, which controls the flow rate of the hydraulic oil to set the opening and closing rates and positioning of each pin. It has a user-friendly controller that stores recipes and can control up to 16 drops.

Benefits Reduced scrap and parts with better surface quality. The system prevents the sudden pressure drops that are typical of cascade injection molding. The pin position control better balances filling and improves pressure distribution in the cavity during the packing phase.
