Sprue bushings PCS offers both inch and metric bushings in various material types and sizes.
What’s new? 0.75-inch integrally heated sprue bushings, appropriate for processing small- and medium-volume batches. Constructed from H-13 tool steel, they are ideal for a wide range of commodity resins. They are available with radiuses of either 0.5 inch and 0.75 radius, with a reinforced contact area for improved strength and heat transfer.
Benefits Shorter cycle times, without compromising part quality. The bushings’ streamlined flow channel ends in a reverse taper gate, providing minimum pressure loss and allowing for rapid gate freeze. They protect the heater and replaceable thermocouple while also providing superior heat transfer capabilities.
