Hasco is gearing up to celebrate 100 years of developing and manufacturing tool and mold making technologies.
The company’s roots began in 1924 in Lüdenscheid, Germany, when company founder Hugo Hasenclever built molds for Bakelite in a cellar workshop. Later, his son, Rolf Hasenclever, invented a modular system for standard mold components, which he patented in 1960.
A century later, the company has become a leading manufacturer of standardized components and customized hot-runner systems.
“With 100 ideas in the past and 100 ideas for the future, we will continue along the chosen path,” CEO Christoph Ehrlich said. "Our aim is, as a pioneer for mold making, to also set innovative milestones for the industry in the next 100 years.”
