Kennametal expands tool portfolio

New drills and face mills offer increased performance, productivity and longevity.

Metalworking tools Kennametal offers a variety of equipment for mold makers. 

What’s new? Eight new products join Kennametal’s tool portfolio. These include the KenDrill Deep HPR, a deep-hole drill made for drilling steel and cast iron, available in multiple diameter ranges and lengths; the KenDrill Micro, Kennametal’s first comprehensive micro drilling tool for short and deep-hole applications; and enhancements to the Dodeka series of face mills. 

Benefits Multi-faceted performance improvements. The company says the KenDrill Micro offers the best process reliability and longevity in small part machining, while the KenDrill Deep HPR boosts performance, productivity and tool life. For high productivity and a lower cost per edge, Dodeka face mills feature 12 cutting edges each.
