Pallet pool Haas brings increased productivity to its machining centers with its pallet pools, which allow operators to set up multiple jobs in advance, with the pallet pool automatically loading and unloading a series of workpieces. When individual jobs are completed, the system can return the pallet to a holding location, or route it to a protected operator station for unloading and reloading.

What’s new? A version compatible with Haas’ VF-2YT series vertical machining centers (VMCs).

Benefits High-capacity, unattended production  including lights-out production. Traditional pallet changers for VMCs only have the capacity for two pallets, but this Haas unit makes four pallets available. The pallet pool maximizes the machine’s productive time by allowing operators to load and unload parts and perform inspections, all while the VMC’s spindle remains active. Having multiple pallets also makes it easier to fit last-minute rush jobs into the production cycle without causing disruptions.
