Slot dies Comelt’s slot dies for film and sheet extrusion are available in widths from 5.9 inches to 9.8 feet. The dies are equipped with a flexible die lip and can be made of standard or chrome steel; different coatings, such as chromium nitride, are available. The product line encompasses monolayer, coextrusion and multi-manifold slot dies.  

What’s new? A 4.6-foot-wide extrusion slot die and associated three-layer, fixed-geometry feedblock for the production of flat PET or sheet in thicknesses ranging from 150 microns to 1.8mm. The die can be manually adjusted.
