SimpaTec opens new office in N.C.

German firm said the move will help it expand its presence in North American market.

German engineering and software company SimpaTec GmbH has opened a new office in Charlotte, N.C., a move the company said will help it market its products in North America.

SimpaTec also announced it will pursue a partnership in North America with Contura MTC, a German firm that develops mold temperature-control equipment. The move to Charlotte also allows SimpaTec to be a reseller for Moldex3D software in the U.S.

SimpaTec said having a footprint in the U.S. will allow it to offer around-the-clock technical support and training services to its existing customers.
