Cavalier Tool purchases Mold Services International

    Cavalier Tool and Manufacturing Ltd. has purchased Oldcastle, Ontario-based Mold Services International (MSI), a manufacturer of production injection and compression molds.

    Brian Bendig, Cavalier’s president, said demand had outstripped his company’s capacity, and MSI’s 22,000-square-foot facility and complementary capabilities will allow the company to take on higher-volume opportunities it couldn’t in the past. He said MSI will continue to operate as a standalone business.

    Headquartered in Windsor, Ontario, Cavalier Tool is a manufacturer of mid- to large-sized molds.
