Angle pin inserts come in many sizes

Angle pin inserts PCS Co.’s new angle-pin inserts are slide-action components used in injection molds. The inserts are designed for use with the company’s radiused angle pins and are made from 420 stainless steel.

What’s new? The inserts, which come in 30 sizes and three angles: 10, 15 and 20 degrees. Also, the insert head features a flat surface to prevent rotation.

Benefits Simplified mold making. Because the pre-machined insert has an angled hole for the pin, the mold maker does not have to set up a plate on an angle, saving time. Also, the standard component is easily replaced, keeping downtime to a minimum.
