CT-350 This new five-axis vertical machining center (VMC) from Tongtai Machine & Tool Co. Ltd., Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, is appropriate for mold making, as well as other applications. It has a 13.78-inch-diameter table size that can hold as much as 440 pounds. The mold-making unit has stroke distances of 15.75 inches, 20.08 inches and 20.08 inches. To perform 4+1 axis cutting, it is equipped with an Oi Model F controller from Fanuc America Corp., Rochester Hills, Mich. It is available through Absolute Machine Tools.
