Axel von Wiedersperg, CEO of Brückner Group, elected chairman for K 2028

The Exhibitor Advisory Board unanimously chose him to succeed Ulrich Reifenhäuser.

The Exhibitor Advisory Board for the K trade fair has begun planning for 2028.

Axel von Wiedersperg, CEO of Brückner Group, was elected chair of the Exhibitor Advisory Board.

The Exhibitor Advisory Board for K 2028 has unanimously elected Axel von Wiedersperg, CEO of Brückner Group, as its new chairman.

He succeeds Ulrich Reifenhäuser, who had led the board since 2004 and played a key role in shaping K over the past two decades. The Advisory Board supports Messe Düsseldorf in the strategic and conceptual development of K and advises it on issues regarding focus, program structure and communication.

Von Wiedersperg has been managing director of the Brückner Group since 2009 and has many years of industry and market knowledge in the plastics and rubber sector. He has been a member of the K Exhibitor Advisory Board since 2023 and also serves on the board of the VDMA Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association.

K 2025 attracted 3,246 exhibitors from 65 countries. The next K show will take place at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, from Oct. 18-25, 2028. Exhibitor registration will open in January 2027.
