Xaloy expands into twin-screw technology with acquisiition of Ultimate Twin Screws

Screw and barrel manufacturer Xaloy LLC has expanded its product offerings by acquiring Ultimate Twin Screws (UTS), a Canadian manufacturer of twin-screw technology. 

Xaloy, based in Austintown, Ohio, sells high-performance screws and barrels for extrusion and injection molding machines globally. It has long offered single-screw and twin barrel products. 

UTS, located in Oakville, Ontario, is now operating as Xaloy Canada Corp. Xaloy acquired the UTS manufacturing facility and equipment and said it intends to retain all 20 employees. 

Terms of the deal were not announced. 

“This acquisition reinforces our commitment to serving customers with the broadest and most innovative solutions in the industry,” Xaloy Chairman Andrew Brickman said. “By adding twin screws to our portfolio, we strengthen our ability to partner with customers in solving their toughest processing challenges, while advancing our long-term growth strategy.”
