Xaloy announces new VP, other promotions
As part of a reorganization following its purchase by Chicago-based Altair Investments earlier this year, Xaloy announced it has promoted Seeni Congivaram to VP, commercial. Congivaram’s responsibilities include developing a strategic sales plan that reflects the company’s goals; promoting sales growth and customer satisfaction; and overseeing the sales management team’s activities and development.
He has been with Xaloy for three years, originally serving as its director of sales and marketing for the Americas under Nordson Xaloy. Before that, he served in global commercial roles for Linde/Praxair, Midrex (Kobelco) and Imperial Chemical Industries.
The company also named Ralf Hilbert managing director of Xaloy Europe. He will work with Congivaram to boost the company’s position in Europe. Hilbert has served Xaloy for 15 years, starting as a sales and marketing director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Rob Cook, who has been with Xaloy for 26 years, has been tapped to lead the processor sales team. His new responsibilities include ensuring profitable growth, developing key account management strategies and talent development. Cook started as an inside sales manager and key account manager with Xaloy, before becoming the company’s sales manager for processor sales in the Americas 10 years ago.Xaloy has promoted Todd Borst, Shannon Abts and Scott Linn to senior regional sales managers (RSMs), positions that will see them handling customer service, management of manufacturer representatives and talent development. Leo Rosenbauer was promoted to RSM for the West region; Alberto Miranda was named RSM for expanded Latin America, including Mexico, and Ray Weaver was promoted to inside sales manager.
Headquartered in Austintown, Ohio, Xaloy manufactures plasticizing components for injection molding and extrusion machinery for the plastics industry.
