Multivac announces management changes

Multivac announced it has expanded its management team, in light of current President Guido Spix’s announcement he is quitting the role effective Dec. 31.

Starting Jan. 1, 2023, Christian Traumann will begin serving as group president and spokesman for the management team of the company, which also has named three new directors: Bernd Höpner (CTO), Christian Lau (COO) and Tobias Richter (CSO).

Traumann has worked for the company since 2002, and he has been a member of the management team since 2008. He and Spix began exercising dual leadership of the Multivac Group in 2020.

“I am delighted that we have been able to fill the new management positions from our own ranks. This enables us to secure the continuity with our customers and business partners as the basis for further successful development of our business,” Traumann said.
