PLASTICS, ACC honor six companies

The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) and American Chemistry Council (ACC) have chosen six new members of the VIP level of the Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) initiative, called OCS Blue.

The new members are: Chase Plastics Services of South Bend, Ind.; Bayport Polymers LLC of Pasadena, Texas; Fortron Industries Inc. of Wilmington, N.C.; Intertape Polymers Corp. of Sarasota, Fla.; R&J Trucking of Youngstown, Ohio; and Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA Inc. of Houston.

OCS is an industry-led campaign to prevent plastic resin loss that can contribute to marine debris and damage the environment. Members can achieve the elite OCS Blue status by exceeding rigorous standards set by OCS.
