Universal Robots (UR) announced that in order to meet demand, it has chosen a limited number of systems integrators to help deploy its ActiNav flexible machine loading system nationally. It has chosen Eckhart Inc. of Michigan, Integro Technologies Corp. of North Carolina, Southwestern Production Technology Solutions of Texas and Cross Co. of North Carolina. UR expects to name more integrators in the U.S. and Canada before the end of the second quarter.

ActiNav combines real-time autonomous motion control with UR cobots and vision and sensor systems into a kit that simplifies the challenges of bin picking for machining cells.

Based in Odense, Denmark, UR has been producing cobots since 2008.
