A custom molder with plants in Ohio and Texas has added presses to meet growing demand.

Venture Plastics is adding a 123-ton Nissei injection molding press with a Yushin robot to its El Paso plant, bringing to 16 the number of presses there. The company also added a 197-tonner, complete with automation, to its Newton Falls, Ohio, location, where it now has 19 presses. Both presses will be equipped with RJG eDARTS for process control.

Venture Plastics has injection molding capacity ranging from 55 tons to 1,440 tons. It operates two facilities in Newton Falls, with 67,000 square feet dedicated to molding and 25,000 square feet to warehousing and engineering. The company has a 60,000-square-foot plant in El Paso.

“Over the past several years, Venture Plastics has added equipment in El Paso and Newton Falls and expanded its Newton Falls facility with additional square footage to meet our growth goals,” company President Steve Trapp said. “Our customers in the consumer, major appliance, energy storage, solar, rail, fuel delivery, medical and agriculture markets will all benefit from the addition of these two Nissei machines.”

Venture Plastics provides customers with services such as engineering, design and project-management support, injection/structural foam molding, overmolding, insert molding, gas-assisted molding, decoration, plating, assembly and welding.
