Engel expects 10 percent revenue increase for 2026-27 fiscal year
Engel expects to earn revenue of about $1.73 billion for the 2026-27 fiscal year, an increase of about 10 percent year over year.
The company said in a press release Monday that the strongest momentum is coming from the U.S., with expansion of local production and growth in data center infrastructure components, which require highly automated and technical solutions.
Automotive is growing, and some U.S. packaging companies are adding production capacity, the company said. Water infrastructure and household products for major retail chains are also creating demand.
“We are seeing an upturn, but not yet a broad turnaround,” said Stefan Engleder, CEO of the Engel Group. “The structural changes in our industry remain, and we are adapting to them. We believe engineering expertise has real economic value.”
Medical remains a stable market for Engel worldwide, and the company anticipates growth in demand for in-mold PU coating of automotive exterior parts.
In Europe, where the market has been sluggish, the company is seeing more inquiries and orders as companies look to upgrade or complement their existing equipment. The evolving PPWR requirements for packaging are affecting decision-making, and processors are choosing all-electric systems to cut energy use.
At Fakuma, Engel also plans to showcase its budget-friendly Wintec T-win IMM; a tie-bar-less Victory Electric producing LSR seals, and a new E-motion 380 making thin-wall yogurt cups. Inject AI, the company's digital tool, and its integrated chatbot EVA are also featured.
