RJG names Niiko Rautiola as new CEO
RJG has named Niiko Rautiola as its CEO, effective July 13.
He most recently led Milacron’s injection molding businesses in the Americas and Europe, and also served in leadership roles with Caterpillar and Carrier, with experience in commercial leadership, manufacturing operations, strategy and customer-focused business development.
RJG, headquartered in Traverse City, Mich., is a provider of both training and technology for injection molding. Its products include CoPilot Go for testing and troubleshooting molds, AI-powered processing solutions and the Imflux system for low-pressure applications, which it acquired in 2025.
“We were looking for a leader who could help RJG build on the momentum we've created over the last several years,” said Mike Groleau, interim CEO and board member at RJG. “Niiko brings a rare combination of industry expertise, commercial leadership, operational excellence and cultural alignment. He understands where manufacturing is headed and shares our belief that technology, data, and people working together will continue transforming the plastics industry.”
Rautiola succeeds Rob Nugent, who stepped down to pursue an opportunity that allows him to spend more time with family.
“RJG has built something truly unique within the injection molding industry,” Rautiola said. “The combination of technology, training, consulting and deep process expertise has created an organization that is helping shape the future of manufacturing.”
