LS Mtron promotes John Wiley to VP of operations
LS Mtron Injection Molding Machine has named John Wiley as VP of operations, effective Jan. 1.
Wiley previously served as director of customer service. In his new role, he will be responsible for not only service and parts but also overall operations. He has been with LS Mtron since 2022.
Over a 30-year career, Wiley has demonstrated expertise in sales, service and business development roles for OEMs and has also worked in maintenance and process management roles for plastics processors. His skills include product development, variable frequency drives, troubleshooting and programmable logic controls.
“John’s excellent leadership was key to helping us reach 10 percent market share in North America in 2025,” said President of Sales Paul Caprio. “His ability to manage many issues from the field ensures our customers get the service they need promptly — which will be critical as we target 20 percent market share.”
With headquarters in Duluth, Ga., LS Mtron sells injection molding machines made by its South Korean parent company, LG Corp., in North America. Officials have discussed eventually expanding production into the U.S.
