    Top 5000 P Elmet’s multicomponent dosing system for injection molding of two-component liquid silicone rubber is suited for shot weights of 0.1 gram to several pounds and can work with materials that have significant differences in viscosity. It is pneumatically driven, is designed for simple, fast material changes and ensures material utilization rates of 99 percent.

    What’s new? A remote-access interface. The interface allows Elmet to provide a premium connectivity software package with email functionality and remote support. The software automatically sends email messages to specific recipients in the event of a breakdown, or when it is time to perform maintenance or drum changes. A VNC link allows the company and equipment users to remotely access the dosing system from anywhere in the world from a smartphone or tablet. Separately, the Top 5000 P will have a smaller footprint starting in mid-2020.
