Elmet Top 5100 is precise, efficient

April 8, 2025
With a more compact footprint and new M-Type pump, it replaces the decade-old Top 5000.

Top 5100 The newest addition to Elmet’s product line is designed to meet the requirements of the company’s higher-performance liquid-silicone-rubber (LSR) dosing units. With the ability to process all commercially available LSR materials, including materials containing carbon black or mineral-filled and self-adhesive additives, at an extended viscosity range, it meets the requirements of the food, healthcare and related industries, and is appropriate for applications related to e-mobility technologies.

What’s new? The Top 5100, which Elmet first showed in March at Silicone Expo Europe in Amsterdam. Compared to the Top 5000, which it replaces after the older model spent nearly a decade on the market, the Top 5100 is more compact and features optimized pump technology, higher-resolution pump volume counters and revised, efficiency-enhancing software. It also boasts the company’s new M-Type pump, designed for more-controlled and higher output of all ranges and viscosities of LSR.

Benefits Greater precision, efficiency and the ability to produce parts in fast cycles. Compared to its predecessor, the system requires less floor space, and boasts pump technology that will last longer. Also, its new volume counters help to ensure even greater precision in production.
