Yizumi-HPM in North America has rebranded as Yizumi, aligning with the company’s global identity and reflecting the transition away from legacy HPM-designed equipment.

“Yizumi is our core global brand, and this rebranding reinforces our commitment to innovation, consistency, and customer experience,” Joe Liang, General Manager of Yizumi North America. “We are no longer producing HPM-designed machines, and this step aligns our North American operations fully with Yizumi’s global product development and quality standards.”

HPM began in 1877 as Hydraulic Press Manufacturing Co. in Mount Gilead, Ohio, making presses for apple cider. Yizumi, based in Foshan City, China, purchased HPM in 2011, including its patented injection molding technologies and other assets. HPM relaunched in 2015 and was rebranded Yizumi-HPM in 2017.

Over the past several years, the product portfolio and technological direction have evolved to reflect Yizumi’s global R&D, modern design standards and high-performance machinery, according to a press release. The unified Yizumi brand will represent all North American sales, service, and support operations.

In addition to plastic injection molding machines, Yizumi, based in Iberia, Ohio, also makes die casting, 3D printing and rubber injection machinery.
