What’s new? The Racer-5 Sensitive Environments (SE) robot, which is designed specifically for clean-room environments, minimizing contamination risks in medical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical production environments. The new robot has an 11-pound payload and is available in two versions with a maximum reach of 2 feet or 2.7 feet.

Benefits Fast cycle times, high repeatability and accuracy in a compact package. The Racer-5 SE can be adapted to a tabletop, inclined, or mounted on a wall or ceiling, allowing it to easily adapt to clean-room space constraints. It has an ISO 5 clean-room classification and is IP-67 rated for protection from water, chemical agents and other contaminants. The robot has a ruggedized shell, NSF H1 food-grade lubrication, a high-gloss painted surface, and stainless-steel screws and covers for easy cleaning and decontamination. Its electrical and air connectors and fittings are located outside the production zone.
