Zeiss announces name change

Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology LLC has changed its legal name in North America to Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions LLC. The company said it made the change, which went into effect on July 1, to reflect its continued development of advanced technologies and the acquisition of several companies in recent years.

Despite the name change, the company continues to provide metrology equipment, and maintains its headquarters in Maple Grove, Minn.
