Low-profile filler from Flexicon saves space

Low-profile filler Operators can easily fill bulk bags and drums with this low-profile filler from Flexicon. With a pallet jack or fork truck, operators can set pallets holding bulk bags up to 4.9 feet tall and 3.8 feet wide, or drums with a height of up to 3 feet and a diameter up to 1.9 feet onto the filler’s platform. The filler is made of carbon steel with stainless-steel contact surfaces, or it can be made with all-stainless construction and finished to meet the requirements of food, dairy, pharmaceutical and other industries. The filler has an inflatable bag spout seal to ensure a secure connection, and a feed chute dust vent. Its low-profile densification deck can de-aerate up to 2 tons of material as it’s being fed into bags.

Benefits Maximized use of available space. A single low-profile filler can take the place of two dedicated machines, and can be used below mezzanines and in other low-headroom locations. The fill head can load a single drum to a pre-determined weight of material. With larger pallets that can hold up to four drums, the fill head can automatically reposition itself to fill each of the drums sequentially.
