Tempro plus D Mold-temperature controllers in Wittmann Battenfeld’s Tempro plus D family provide short preheat times and fast cool-down periods, due to their small heat exchangers. Standard equipment includes a microprocessor controller with accuracy of plus or minus 0.2 degree Celsius; pump and system pressure gauges; a heater control with a solid-state relay; a backflow sensor; and air purging. The easy-to-use units allow the operator to display additional information on the control screen, such as pressure and flow. Additionally, operation modes that are frequently used can be conveniently selected using touch fields at the bottom of the screen.

What’s new? The Tempro plus D200 model, designed for high-temperature applications. The company said the new model can handle temperatures up to 392 degrees Fahrenheit and addresses both customer requests and a general market trend towards higher processing temperatures. Available in both single- and dual-zone units, the model has powerful, submersible pumps without pump seals.

Benefits More options for challenging, high-temperature molding applications.
