Tempro Basic C120 Wittmann Battenfeld has upgraded its Tempro Basic C120 temperature controller for injection molds. Able to handle temperatures up to 248 degrees Fahrenheit, it has radial pumps to provide high flow volumes at varying pressure ranges.

What's new? Additional software features, introduced at the beginning of the year. One new feature prevents operators from setting the maximum temperature at an unsafe level in relation to the water inlet pressure. Another automatically reduces pressure to allow for safe opening of the controller's magnet valve. The software also improves venting so that air bubbles do not become trapped in the temperature control circuit, a situation that can cause the pump to run while dry.

Benefits Improved safety, and the elimination of air bubbles that can result in costly repairs.
