BigRed 4D-54 Vastex makes infrared conveyor tunnel ovens that can be used for a variety of applications, including heating sheet prior to thermoforming, curing ink on plastic surfaces, softening plastics and expanding foam. Its BigRed ovens come with standard Teflon-coated fiberglass belts; optional stainless steel mesh belts are available for high-heat applications.
What’s new? The BigRed 4D-54, which, at 4.5 feet, has the widest conveyor belt available in Vastex’s BigRed line of high-capacity conveyor tunnel ovens.
Benefits Powerful, accurate heating. The oven has four height-adjustable infrared heaters that can bring temperatures to over 300 degrees Fahrenheit within inches of the tunnel’s entrance and maintain cure temperatures of up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit. Dual digital PID temperature controls maintain accuracy to plus or minus 1 degree Fahrenheit. Users can double or triple capacity and belt speed by adding one or two of the modular heating chambers together and extending the conveyor belt. The BigRed 4D-54 has a 6-inch-diameter exhaust fan outlet that can rotate 360 degrees to easily connect to ductwork, and its heaters carry a 15-year warranty.
