The magnetically coded MC88C sensors monitor the position of sliding, hinged and removable safety guards in industrial applications.

MC88C These magnetically coded safety sensors from Carlo Gavazzi are used to monitor the position of sliding, hinged and removable safety guards in industrial applications. They are designed to stop dangerous movements when guards are opened or displaced. Suitable for harsh environments where dust and dirt are present, they can operate in temperatures ranging from minus 13 degrees Fahrenheit to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. The sensors come in versions for mounting on the left or right and have a housing measuring 88mm by 25mm by 13mm. An optional LED indicator simplifies installation and diagnostics.

What’s new? The MC88C sensors, which join the company’s MC Safety Magnetic Sensors family.

Benefits Durability and ease of use. Magnetic, non-contact actuation precludes wear and tear on the sensors for a long service life. Additionally, MC88C sensors have an IP67 dust-protection rating and their magnetic technology is unaffected by dirt and dust.
