The Manufacturing Alliance Service Corp. (MASC), a nonprofit manufacturing-based training organization, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Advanced Manufacturing Plastics Training Center in Waterbury, Conn. Acting as part of a team that included multiple companies and organizations, Wittmann Battenfeld provided an Industry 4.0-ready SmartPower 35 injection molding machine work cell to the facility, including a W818 robot, Tempro Plus TCU and an Aton Plus dryer.
The MASC, which will provide training services to adults and high school students at the new facility, will open the program officially in April.
