Teradyne Inc. has named Kim Povlsen president of Universal Robots. Povlsen will begin his new role on March 1.
Povlsen has experience in multiple executive business and technology leadership roles, most recently serving as VP, strategy and technology, responsible for the technology strategy and execution within a multibillion dollar global organization. Povlsen lives in Aarhus, Denmark, and holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and Embedded Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark.
Teradyne is the parent company of Universal Robots, which is headquartered in Odense, Denmark, and develops small, user-friendly cobots.
