Glycon names new president, VP

Jonathon Kuhman is now president and COO, and John Phelan has become VP and general counsel.

Glycon Corp., Tecumseh, Mich., has made major changes in its top management. Owner Jeffrey Kuhman, who founded the firm in 1978, announced that Jonathon Kuhman has been named president and COO, and John Phelan is now VP and general counsel.

Kuhman, a graduate of Cornell University, has worked at the company since his graduation in 1995 and had most recently served as VP of engineering. Phelan, who first joined Glycon in 2000 as a regional manager, had been its GM and corporate counsel. The announcement came at the company’s annual board meeting.

Glycon supplies feedscrews for plastics processors in the injection molding, blow molding and extrusion sectors.
