SPE extends contracts for Farrey, Vitale

The executive board of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) has extended the employment contracts for both Patrick Farrey and Eve Vitale, with both serving until Dec. 31, 2024.Farrey, who joined SPE in 2017, will continue to serve as CEO. Vitale, who joined SPE in 2016, will continue to serve as SPE Foundation’s chief executive.

“I look forward to being a part of the SPE team well into the future,” Farrey said. “We have accomplished many good things these past three years, but there is still much work to be done.”

Vitale expressed her optimism, saying, “I’m excited to continue my work with SPE volunteers, chapters and corporate partners committed to educating young people about career opportunities in plastics.”

With more than 22,500 members in 84 countries and headquarters in Danbury, Conn., the SPE works to unite plastics professionals worldwide.
