Engel announced it has chosen Johannes Kilian to lead its Process Technologies department. This reorganization comes following the retirement of Georg Steinbichler, who was a driving force behind Engel’s research and development work for almost four decades.
Kilian’s responsibilities will include products and solutions for increasing process capability, such as the smart assistance systems of the iQ product family, but also innovative services.
Kilian has been with the company since 2013, first as assistant to the CTO.
