Short Runs: Maag Group acquires industrial controls firm

Maag Group, Oberglatt, Switzerland, has acquired German firm XanTec Steuerungs- und EDV Technik GmbH. The addition of XanTec, which designs and manufactures industrial control systems for production plants, pelletizing systems and extruders, strengthens Maag’s digital capabilities, the company said.  

Maag Group produces pump, filtration, pelletizing, pulverizing and recycling systems under the Maag, Ettlinger, Gala, Scheer, Automatik and Reduction brands.
