Thermal Care’s Accuchiller NQ series of portable and packaged chillers offers capacities ranging from 4 to 40 tons.

Accuchiller NQ Thermal Care’s Accuchiller NQ series of portable and packaged chillers offers capacities ranging from 4 to 40 tons. The chillers are appropriate for process cooling in injection molding, extrusion, pelletizing and sheet forming operations. They come in air-cooled, water-cooled and remote condenser models for indoor and outdoor applications. Thermal Care uses components such as scroll compressors, microchannel condensers, low-noise fans and stainless-steel brazed-plate evaporators for enhanced performance and reliability.

What’s new? A redesigned cabinet and an advanced PLC control system that comes standard with the ModBus RTU communications protocol and a 7-inch color touch screen. Other communication options, such as BACnet and LonWorks, are available.

Benefits Easier operation. The new, robust control system has extensive diagnostic capabilities and the company improved the screen layouts to make them easier to use. Pressure sensors that are now part of the control system package provide more reliable and accurate information on machine conditions. Additionally, the control panel cabinet now has a sloped top for easier viewing.
