Milacron’s revenue drops 23 percent in Q3

Aug. 10, 2020

Milacron LLC, Batavia, Ohio, saw revenue of $186 million for the third quarter of 2020, a 23 percent drop compared to the previous year. Lower demand for injection molding and extrusion equipment caused by the pandemic led to the revenue decrease for Milacron. However, it was offset somewhat by higher sales of hot runners for both the medical and electronics markets.

Milacron’s adjusted earnings before interest, income tax, depreciation and amortization were $38 million, a decrease of 24 percent compared to last year. Its order backlog was at $185 million, a decrease of 3 percent.
