Intelli-Lift This safety system from Columbus McKinnon is used with overhead lifting equipment to prevent loads from swinging due to misalignment. The system also detects when moving hooks, slings or rigging become snagged, alerts operators with visible and audible warnings and stops all movement. Intelli-Lift is available in two configurations: Detection and Prevention. In the Detection version, the operator manually corrects the load position using a pendant or radio remote control. In the Prevention configuration, operators can either manually correct the load position, or allow the system’s software to automatically center the hoist above the load by moving the bridge and trolley.

What’s new? Intelli-Lift, the second product in the company’s new Intelli-Crane family of automation safety systems.

Benefits Worker safety. Swinging loads are dangerous for workers and can damage equipment, necessitating costly repairs and downtime. The system enables precise load control, increasing uptime and productivity and reducing stress on equipment. Additionally, it is easy to install.
