Wittmann Group reopens plant in Austria

On April 20, the Wittmann Group restarted production at its plant in Kottingbrunn, Austria, which had temporarily been shut down due to the pandemic. Three production plants in Vienna and Wolkersdorf have continued to operate. 

The Wittmann Battenfeld USA site in Torrington, Conn., was declared an essential supplier and has continued to operate. Wittmann Group, which manufactures injection molding machines, robots and auxiliary equipment, said its plants in Hungary and China have continued production without any limitations, and its plant in La Buisse, France, partially reopened on April 9.
