Universal Dynamics Inc., a Fredericksburg, Va., maker of materials-handling equipment, has acquired size-reduction equipment manufacturer CMG America Inc., Clio, Mich. Over the past year, CMG has partnered with Una-Dyn’s parent company, Piovan SpA, to begin production of its equipment and distribution of spare parts throughout the U.S. CMG has shifted more of its focus to the recycling industry over the last seven years, and the company has more than 12,000 of its units installed across the U.S.
