CMM Master 500 To create its CMM Master 500, Verisurf takes a standard Renishaw Equator 500 coordinate-measuring machine (CMM) and volumetrically error-maps and calibrates it. Controlled by Verisurf’s software running on a laptop, this upgraded unit retains the ability to compare production parts to a known “golden part” while gaining the ability to compare finished parts to a nominal CAD model. The units are portable enough to be used on a shop floor.

What’s new? Increased working volume. Verisurf’s earlier offering is based on Renishaw’s smaller Equator 300 model.

Benefits Increased capabilities at a much lower cost than traditional CMMs. The CMM Master 500 Extended Height can be used with automated part loading and unloading devices and is capable of lights-out operation. Current owners of standard Equator units can send them to Verisurf to be converted into a CMM Master.
