KraussMaffei has expanded its line of CX two-platen, all-hydraulic injection molding machines with five new models.

CX series KraussMaffei has expanded its line of CX two-platen, all-hydraulic injection molding machines with five new models — the 06 generation. The CX 350-2000 is shown.

What's new? More sizes and numerous upgrades. The five new models have clamping forces from 221 tons to 463 tons. The company has redesigned the flow dynamics of its BluePower clamping block and also has updated its filter design.

Benefits Energy savings. Compared to the previous 05 generation of machines, the new models consume 10 percent less energy. The newly designed clamping block also yields smooth and extremely precise movement, while a new filter design increases the service life of the hydraulic oil by 25 percent or more. With the optional BluePower ServoDrive, overall energy savings for the machine can be as much as 40 percent, compared to an asynchronous drive.
