Toshiba brings ECSXII all-electric injection press to US

Toshiba Machine has introduced a new generation of all-electric injection molding machines to the U.S. market.

ECSXII Toshiba Machine has introduced a new generation of all-electric injection molding machines to the U.S. market. The ECSXII series, which launched last year in Japan, is gradually replacing the ECSX series, with new model releases planned throughout the year. Now available in clamping forces from 30 to 250 tons, Toshiba will add 310- and 390-ton models this spring and larger models by the end of the year. The line features the advanced V50 controller and a line-link toggle system that is angled to distribute force evenly across the platen. The 110-ton model is pictured.

What's new? Numerous features, including significantly faster injection speeds compared to the previous generation of electric machines. The machine also has a streamlined design, space-saving frame and two-piece removable platens that can be changed out in just 15 minutes.
