The Rim Drive model features constant tension control and easy loading and unloading. The Shafted option centers the spool on a fixed shaft and ensures stability at higher speeds. The Shaftless option offers quick changeovers and the ability to handle varying reel widths without swapping shafts. The systems employ closed-loop feedback control systems and automatic dancer-pulley tension controls for smooth, consistent handling.
