Davis-Standard appoints Christian Renners as business unit president

Davis-Standard Corp. has named Christian Renners president of the Davis-Standard Business Unit (DSBU), and Scott LeBrun has joined the business unit as VP of sales and marketing.

Renners brings more than 25 years of leadership expertise in the plastics processing and machinery building sectors. Most recently, he served as CEO of Kögel Trailer GmbH, and has also filled senior executive roles at Vossloh Fastening Systems GmbH (CEO and CTO) and Sumitomo (SHI) Demag (chief sales officer).

He is currently working across the Davis-Standard family of brands, including Maillefer, Battenfeld-Cincinnati and Exelliq, to identify and integrate technologies and expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet specific customer requirements.

LeBrun brings an extensive background in global commercial strategy, and most recently served as VP of global sales and marketing at Fortifi Food Processing Solutions. His career also includes senior leadership positions at Danaher, Fortive and SMC.

Davis-Standard Corp., headquartered in Chicago, is majority-owned by funds affiliated with Gamut Capital Management. The company manufactures extrusion equipment and converting systems for a variety of end markets.
